December 27, 2017, 12:35pm. Suspected Petty Theft. 19 year old Caucasian male employee, 63, was brought in for questioning regarding his use of the register. Reports of end-of-day till shortages prompted the Loss Prevention Officer to monitor employee cash handling, leading to the installation of the security cameras. Following a thorough review of the tapes, the suspect was determined to be key to the investigation. While in custody, the employee maintained his innocence, even when subjected to a strip search. After a long interrogation, the employee was determined by the Loss Prevention Officer to no longer be a suspect and was returned to work without involvement of law enforcement.
